Hotel Indigo, located in the very heart of Belgrade, at one of the city’s most iconic addresses, embodies a blend of rich history and contemporary design.

Once a row of historic buildings featuring a famous “hidden” passage connecting Čika Ljubina and Knez Mihailova streets, the site is now home to this luxury hotel. While the exterior has retained its historic appearance, the interiors offer a contemporary interpretation of Belgrade’s different eras through carefully considered design.

As a trusted partner, TREND contributed to the hotel’s furnishing, providing textile solutions throughout the property – from the guest rooms and restaurant to the open-air terrace. Our role was to help create an atmosphere that preserves the spirit of the past while blending seamlessly with a contemporary setting.

Textiles in Harmony with Local History

The hotel’s walls are adorned with photographs and details that showcase Belgrade’s rich history, while the textile elements designed by TREND help create a sophisticated ambience. Curtains and blackout drapes, crafted from premium fabrics selected from the hotel collection, were installed in every room, striking a balance between luxury and simplicity. Wallcoverings by Vescom, a renowned manufacturer for which we are the general representative and distributor, were chosen to bring added depth and texture to the interiors.

Particular attention was given to decorative cushions featuring distinctive Serbian ornamental motifs, bringing an authentic touch of local culture to every corner of the hotel. These details feature not only in the guest rooms but also in the restaurant and reception areas, creating a cohesive interior throughout the property.
